Kids are the most creative people in the world as we all know. Imagine a work-life day-2-day dealing with kids and kid's shows. As businesses grow they expand to different segments. Maa did the same, by launching the first Telugu kids channel with a grand event by inviting prominent celebrities of Tollywood. Seeking to become an independent producer, I approached victor to help me to transfer to the new channel. Which eventually happened.

This is the most interesting and fun love time at maa after spending days and nights in the office between 2009 to 2012. Maa Junior channel was already filled with a group of producers by the time I moved in. We used to deal with various shows which include animations, series, programs, and interviews. I still remember visiting every celebrity at various shooting locations requesting to say a few words about the new channel. With the grand launch, the channel was able to pick up to 1st place in 1st 2 months of the time in Television ratings. Management was so happy about growth too 🙂.

Working at maa junior helped me to connect with the youngest team of a maa network. A team of 5(including me) used to fill 12 hours of content for the channel, reporting to 3 managers and one head of the channel The mutual understanding and relationship were so good between us to handle other's work when on leave. The conference room was always booked by us making others network team members wait. Loved the way we used to interact, brainstorm, fight, and tease each other 🙂 Sessions used to end with laughing always, of course, some arguments too.

Gopal: "The dhim sha and dhiya guy", who always stands on his toes 🙂 to explain his concepts and thoughts. Mostly encouraged and little produced.

Madhuri: The rebel of maa junior. A senior who can compete with the imam in discussion and productions. Always works timelessly to output her daily and weekly commitments.

Mads: The UK girl, who always comes with international concepts and ends in comprise with budget limitations. Eureka was a thoughtful show produced by her. Maybe if youtube exits more prominent that time. It could have gained more views and subscribers since TV ratings are predictions on samples. Nayeem - Promo's and packaging, is a great friend of mads. Their discussion and arguments never end 🙂

remember his feedback for an idea by mads promo, Maa panch salasai kabhi neehi dheka aisai, Looks like he worked on same things for 5year????...hahaha🙂

Swathi: The hyper girl who visits the office once on a blue moon day. Love the way she decorates her cubic. A shared lot of ideas and did produce. I can still recall her imitation of paramanadha sishulu (raising her shoulders while talking)

Imam: Rayalaseema bida. The high experience guy in the team, who always gives references of jamalamadugu and kushi tv of Sun network. A man with patience. Never talks in meetings only listens. And how can I forget his dream of becoming channel head 🙂 which never happened. I am laughing while writing this, thinking about his reference - idhai maa jamalmadugu aithai.....(the smallest town in Andhra Pradesh). Idhai kushi tv lo sir........ hahahahaaaa

Kuchi: Respectful senior professional manager with artistic ideas. Many top people in the management respect him and request him for paintings. Kuchi garu was always known for his paintings less for his writings. I am blessed to have wonderful writing for Life Of Pi Telugu Documentary and Chithrakala thapasivi - a special interview with Film director Viswanath garu. My limitation with Telugu writing kuchi garu is to always go to the manager for scripts mostly. As our writer sathish always thinks instead of writing at his cubic 🙂

Veena: The youngest person in the team without aging 🙂. You can find her always with headphones at her cubic handling reports, FPC, and some of our problems. Our problems are always shared without a solution. As we know, working in television is hectic and relationship-based. Not every complaint can be taken and solved. I love mam patience for listening to us. can ask your current age mam? 🙂 Are you genZ or millennial?

Victor: Should I write again about him ???.... The lazy reporting manager for all of us. He listens more, walks less, and talks right. Whenever you approach him with a problem, he quickly suggests something interesting, where you end up solving yourself, so he doesn't need to walk or talk🙂🙂🙂 The sitting einstein :) Victor garu..... Has hasha or as asa

Sumanth: The head of the channel. Most a high experience and respectful cool boss, who always carries a calm smile with him. Sumanth comes with vast experience from the television and film industry with international exposure. His example is hard for me to understand, Only mads used to connect well. I can't, as I come from a tier 2 city (a village kind of). Whatever pressure he has his dealing with others won't get disturbed. I still remember his answer for a low-quality show production by me, saying that he can see every frame (the program was live on his TV in his cabin). It was so easy to work under you

All of us moved to different zones of career and life. Mads settled in back in the UK, Swathi became the mother of two kids, Gopal moved to a digital platform(while writing this article), and Madhuri reports to the top management of sun network. Imam working with political leaders (which is in his blood I think - Jai jamalmadugu), and Victor enjoying his vacation and doing crazy Instagram videos 🙂Veena is now heading fiction for zee Telugu. Kuchi is back to his paintings and Me writing articles like this🙂🙂

Wish those days are back again if possible

Did you notice the image at the top properly? A missing person(Swathi) was added in the middle of the picture - Victor's creative hahaha 🙂

Love,

Kiran
